The Most Powerful Method of Product Promotion Is No More a Secret
Since you have a product, it is obvious that you would like to promote it. In fact, the rate of conversion largely depends on how the product is promoted and at what degree. So is true if you are affiliating something.
Most people choose PPC as the most powerful and dominating method for promotion. In fact, many marketers recommend it that way too. However, this is NOT completely true.
A buyer’s buying decision is largely governed by few factors. One of them is obviously the repetitive contact with the targeted instance. When the potential buyers come into contact with the targeted instance for a number of times, they take interest in the content of the product, assuming they have already some bias over the targeted group.
Considering from this perspective, yes, this is a fact when you launch your promotional campaign with the help of PPC, the targeted instance, here is your advertisement, bumps the targeted visitors a number of times and that creates an interest about the product in their mind.
But, is that all? No, definitely not.
While the presence of repetitive stimuli in the form of PPC can make the readers interested with a basic curiosity, you need to channelize this curiosity to the appropriate direction to make the final conversion.
And that could only be done with the help of offering value-added information about the product. Don’t make it confused with the promotional propaganda, but the relevant information where the prospective buyers seek others feedback and try to find out if there is any truth in vendor’s claim.
Therefore, when you are seeking the way to induce the most powerful method of product promotion, you should not only consider PPC as the mode of promotion, rather you must expose your readers with the valuable content that helps them to know about the product in question.
Now the next question that strikes a would-be buyer’s mind is that if there is any relevancy of the content. This should not be like this –
Visitors click on the PPC advertisement – They are taken to your sales page, where you offer valuable information along with testimonials.
If this is the structure, you cannot expect any conversion.
The readers must be exposed to the value-added content throughout the net. While browsing the net, they must receive the information from different sources. If this is the case, then only they might consider it relevant or trustworthy. Getting information from a single resource may not really sound authentic.
So, you need to plan the promotion in the following way -
- Set up your PPC campaign (if you need fast results)
- Produce value-added content
- Distribute content
By the way, you must keep one thing in mind before you go for PPC campaign. This sort of promotional effort is temporary. As long as you pay for the campaign, you will get the benefit. Once you stop payment, you will get no result from the next day.
On the other hand, this is not the case when you go for content based promotional methods. With their enormous versatility and flexibility, they offer you a permanent solution. No matter if you continue or not, your content would remain on web for lifetime.
