Article Marketing Secrets that Most Gurus Don’t Share

Sounds weird, isn’t it? Though you might be thinking that article marketing is ‘that easy’, the reality is otherwise. Yes, you are only scratching the surface of a ball. There are still lots of secrets (you can read ‘powerful secrets) that most gurus don’t share. If they do, you will take no time to become a ‘Guru’ yourself, so why the heck they would care to do that for you?

You might have heard that article marketing is something which needs you to submit articles to different directories with high PR and low Alexa. If you believe in such ideas, you are doing nothing but wasting too many hours. It takes a more lot of things to build a marketing strategy around an article or a set of articles.

Well, it’s not just writing and submitting articles to different directories.

First of all, you need to make research for the relevant, highly targeted but low competitive keywords with decent search volume (hard to get, but not impossible).

At the second stage, you need to develop a powerful strategy for appropriate keyword placement.

Thirdly, you need to write article that is loved by both search engine bot and human readers. You must make it sure that you create different variations. No, I am not talking about merely rewritten or spinned articles. But I am stressing over completely different versions altogether just to secure that it becomes acceptable in different article submission / sharing sites.

Fourthly, submit the article-directory-formatted articles to different article directories. Yes, you can start with ezinearticles.com and as soon as your article gets approved by ezinearticles, you can start submitting to different article directories. Be sure that you do the entire process manually. Make it sure that you are targeting only Do-Follow directories, otherwise you are just messing around with your valuable hours that you could have otherwise spent quite effectively.

At the fifth level, you start creating value-added content pages and direct link from there to your targeted business site. You can create value-added content pages in WordPress, Squidoo, HubPages, eHow, wikiHow, Associated Content and the like. Be sure that you add direct links from these value-added pages at its most basic level.

Once you have done with all these tricks, it is now time for letting the world know about your venture at the maximum possible way. What could be more effective than submitting story to social sites?

Possibly, nothing, as these are the best places to attract targeted visitors to your site. Be sure you are NOT just sharing by copying the first sentence of your article as summary, but sharing a relevant story that has value.

I admit that this is not really an amateur story I have shared so far. Yes, a hard-core professional involvement is indeed necessary to achieve the final goal of article marketing and to make the most out of it.

However, just don’t get trapped into all the article marketing myths polluting the web market. Apply your own wisdom and dig to depth to discover the secret power of article marketing.

  • If the gurus share this secret, how do then they make money? They make money by fooling newbie and it’s not a secret anymore.

  • Isn’t this information a little backdated especially after Panda update? Basically submitting duplicate articles may help building backlinks, but they are not called authority and Google devalue them.

  • Aren’t people believing less in those gurus? At least, I have lost my faith on gurus. I hate them. They only bank profit and make us fool. Only a few are ready to do any good for us.
